Ask a question in plain words. ResearchAnything searches, reads and compares sources before it answers, and puts a citation behind each claim so you can check it. It runs at researchanything.ai.
01What it is
ResearchAnything is a research agent. You give it a question; it plans a search, runs it, opens the pages worth reading, grades them, and writes an answer from what it read. Each claim in the answer carries a marker that opens the source behind it.
It searches the open web through Brave Search, six academic databases, or both. The work stays visible: the searches it ran, the pages it opened, the sources it relied on and the ones it passed over.
Before a web search, it checks the corpus of vetted sources behind Sourcipedia, and uses what is already there. Your runs are kept in projects, next to the sources they found, your own documents and a chat that can read all of it.
It is built for anyone who checks their sources: students, researchers, analysts and journalists.
02What is in the app
The sidebar has three places to work, plus your projects and recent runs.
- Research. Ask a question and start a run. You choose the model, where to look, and the project to save it in.
- Cite. Turn a link, DOI, ISBN, arXiv or PubMed ID, or title into a citation in any of 22 formats, or paste your own writing and find sources for it. See Cite.
- Library. All your projects, and every run you have started.
- Projects. One workspace per line of research: runs, sources, documents and a project chat. See Projects and documents.
The account menu at the foot of the sidebar has Profile (usage, name, password and theme), Upgrade (the plans page) and API Console (developer keys).
03Models
There are five research models. They use the same search and reading tools and differ in how much work they do and what they check.

04What a run gives you
- An answer. Written for the question, with inline citations. Click a citation to see the publisher, title and a snippet of the source.
- The sources it stood on. Each one has a trust label, the run's analysis of it, and a ready-made citation in MLA, APA, Chicago, IEEE, Harvard and BibTeX.
- Other sources. What the run found but did not use, kept one click away. You can have a few of them read after the fact.
- A receipt. How long the run took, how many sources it found and deep-read, and the share of claims backed by evidence.

05Plans
Signup is open and free. Every new account starts on the Free plan.
- Free — $0. 3 research runs a month on RA-Lite.
- Pro — $12 a month. 40 runs a month, all five models, depth modes, and up to 10 runs on Max.
- Researcher — $29 a month. 100 runs a month, and any of them can use Max.
Allowances reset on the 1st of each month. There are no overage charges. See Plans for the full list of limits.
